150 Proceeding for offence not affected by notice or direction

A proceeding for an offence against this Act or the regulations in connection with any matter in respect of which an improvement notice or a prohibition notice was issued, or a verbal direction under section 145 was given, is not affected by—

(a) in the case of an improvement notice, the issue, amendment or withdrawal of the notice; or

(b) in the case of a prohibition notice—

(i) the issue or amendment of the notice; or

(ii) the certification that an activity specified in the notice is no longer prohibited; or

(c) in the case of a verbal direction under section 145—

(i) the giving or amendment of the direction; or

(ii) the certification that an activity prohibited by the direction is no longer prohibited.
