This instrument declares that the gross amount of the Retta Dixon Home Settlement Payment is an "exempt lump sum" for social security purposes (s 5), made under paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Social Security Act 1991 (s 3). This instrument is made under paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Social Security Act 1991.
In this instrument:
Act means the Social Security Act 1991.
Retta Dixon Home Settlement Payment means a payment made from the Deed of Settlement between John Gordon and other claimants, the Commonwealth of Australia, Donald Bruce Henderson and Australian Indigenous Ministries Pty Ltd (ACN 002 013 658), document number 21254502, first signed 8 March 2017.
For the purposes of paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Act, the gross amount of a Retta Dixon Home Settlement Payment is an exempt lump sum.
