Commonwealth legislation
This instrument sets the deemed interest rates that apply to Division 1B of Part 3.10 of the Social Security Act 1991: a below‑threshold rate of 1.25% and an above‑threshold rate of 3.25%. It takes effect on 20 March 2026 and repeals the 2025 Determination. It affects persons and cases governed by Division 1B because subsection 1082 of the Act uses these rates to give legal effect to deeming calculations.
