##### 8 Associate Commissioners (1) The Governor‑General may appoint 1 or 2 Associate Commissioners to assist the Commissioner. (2) An Associate Commissioner shall give such advice and assistance to the Commissioner as the Commissioner requires and shall perform such duties as the Commissioner directs.
