4Interpretation

##### 4 Interpretation In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears: > Associate Commissioner means an Associate Commissioner holding office under this Act. > easement includes a licence or a right in the nature of an easement. > owner, in relation to any land, includes any person having an estate or interest in that land. > the Agreement means the agreement between the Commonwealth, the State of New South Wales and the State of Victoria a copy of which is set out in Schedule 1 and, except in section 5A, includes any agreement relating to the Guthega project entered into in accordance with clause 22 of the Agreement. > the Authority means the Snowy Mountains Hydro‑electric Authority. > the Commissioner means the Commissioner constituting the Authority. > the Supplemental Agreement means the agreement between the Commonwealth, the State of New South Wales and the State of Victoria a copy of which is set out in Schedule 2.
