#### 29 Precondition of payments for strategic national initiatives (1) The Minister must not authorise a payment of financial assistance under this Act to a State for a strategic national initiative unless the State satisfies the requirements set out in Part 2 for the payment of financial assistance under that Part. (2) The Minister must not authorise a payment of financial assistance under this Act to a person other than a State for a strategic national initiative unless the Skilling Australia’s Workforce Agreement is in force. (3) The Minister must not authorise a payment of financial assistance under this Act to a State or to another person for a strategic national initiative other than in accordance with the terms of the Skilling Australia’s Workforce Agreement.
