32 Ship lost etc or ceasing to be entitled to be registered
(1) Delivery of the registration certificate or provisional registration certificate relating to a ship to the Registrar or a proper officer under subsection (10) of section 66 of the Act must be effected within 30 days after the giving by the Registrar of a notice in writing in accordance with subregulation (2) to a person whose name appeared on the Register, immediately before the registration of the ship was closed or deemed to be closed under that section, as the owner, or one of the owners, of the ship.
(2) A notice of the kind referred to in subregulation (1) must:
(a) identify the ship to which it relates;
(b) set out particulars of the closure, or deemed closure, of the registration of the ship; and
(c) contain a statement of the obligations, in the circumstances, of the person having possession of the registration certificate or provisional registration certificate.
