#### 89 Applications under previous law Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Act, where: (a) before the commencing date, an application was made under the previous law, but not finally dealt with; and (b) the Registrar is satisfied that the requirements of this Act relating to an application of the same kind are substantially similar to the requirements of the previous law; the Registrar shall treat that application as if it had been made under this Act.
