73F Transitional provisions—Sex Offenders Registration Amendment Act 2016 (1) If, immediately before the commencement of Part 4 of the **Sex Offenders Registration Amendment Act 2016**, the IBAC had carried out an inspection under section 66C as in force immediately before the commencement of that Part, but had not given the Minister a report about that inspection, the IBAC may report on the inspection under section 70O as if the inspection had been conducted under section 70N. (2) Section 70O does not apply to a report given by the IBAC to the Minister under section 66D before the commencement of Part 4 of the **Sex Offenders Registration Amendment Act 2016**.
