66C When is a registrable offender properly notified of an order? (1) For the purposes of this Part, a registrable offender is properly notified of an order— (a) if the registrable offender is before the court when the order is made, on the making of the order; or (b) otherwise, when a copy of the order is served on the registrable offender. (2) An order made under this Part has effect on its making but a prohibition order or a registration order, or an order varying a prohibition order or a variation order, cannot be enforced against a registrable offender until the registrable offender is properly notified that the order has been made.
