91 Copy of emergency detention order (1) If an emergency detention order is made in the absence of the offender, the Secretary must as soon as practicable serve on the offender— (a) a copy of the order; and (b) a copy of the record of reasons for the making of the order; and (c) a statement (in the prescribed form, if any) of the offender's rights of appeal or review. (2) Subsection (1) applies despite the making of an order under section 279. (3) As soon as practicable after the making of an emergency detention order, the Secretary must give a copy of the order to the Authority.
