294A Selection of member to chair meetings in certain circumstances The chairperson must select one of the members referred to in section 293(2)(a), (b) or (c) to preside at meetings at which that chairperson and all the following are unable to perform the duties of office or are absent or the office is vacant— (a) the deputy chairperson or both deputy chairpersons (as the case may be); (b) the acting chairperson; (c) the acting deputy chairperson or both acting deputy chairpersons (as the case may be).
