129 Adjournment of hearing (1) A court hearing an application under Part 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 may adjourn the hearing of the proceeding— (a) to any time and place; and (b) for any purpose; and (c) on any terms as to costs or otherwise— that it considers necessary or just in the circumstances. (2) On an adjournment, the **Bail Act 1977** applies, with any necessary modifications, to and in respect of an offender who is being held in custody under section 138 as if the offender were accused of an offence and were being held in custody in relation to that offence.
