### 92 Court must explain certain orders > > (1)  In this section, > > > > > ***order*** means an order that has conditions attached to it or which requires an offender to give an undertaking. > > > (2)  If a court makes an order in relation to an offender it must explain, or cause to be explained, to the offender in simple language – > > > > > > (a) the purpose and effect of the order; and > > > > > > > (b) the consequences that may follow if the offender fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with the order; and > > > > > > > (c) the way in which the order may be varied.
