### 84 Court may order mediation report > > (1)  Before a court passes sentence on an offender found guilty of an offence it may, if the victim agrees, order a mediation report and adjourn the proceedings to enable the report to be prepared. > > > (2)  A court that commits an offender to another court for sentencing may, if it thinks fit, order a mediation report for the assistance of that other court. > > > (3)  Whether or not a mediation report has been ordered, a court may receive such a report. > > > (4)  A court may rule that the whole or any part of a mediation report is inadmissible.
