### 63 Effect of certain orders
> An order under [section 7(f)](#GS7@Hpf@EN) in the case where a conviction is not recorded, or an order under [section 7(h)](#GS7@Hph@EN) , has, for the purposes of –

> > > (a) [section 29](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1896-014#GS29@EN) of the [Sale of Goods Act 1896](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1896-014) ; and
> >
> > > (b) awards of costs against offenders generally –

> the effect of a conviction for the offence in respect of which the order was made.
