### 61 Discharge of order for release on adjournment
> > (1) If a court makes an order under [section 7(f)](#GS7@Hpf@EN) and records a conviction, the offender is discharged when the period specified in the order expires, unless –
> >
> > > > (a) the court specifies a time under [section 59(a)](#GS59@Hpa@EN) to which the further hearing is adjourned; or
> > >
> > > > (b) the offender is called on to appear before the court under [section 60](#GS60@EN) ; or
> > >
> > > > (c) an application has been made under [section 62](#GS62@EN) .

> > (2) If a court makes an order under [section 7(f)](#GS7@Hpf@EN) without recording a conviction, the charge is dismissed when the period specified in the order expires, unless –
> >
> > > > (a) the court specifies a time under [section 59(a)](#GS59@Hpa@EN) to which the further hearing is adjourned; or
> > >
> > > > (b) the offender is called on to appear before the court under [section 60](#GS60@EN) ; or
> > >
> > > > (c) an application has been made under [section 62](#GS62@EN) .
