48O Suspension by Secretary (1) The Secretary may— (a) if the offender is ill; or (b) in other exceptional circumstances— suspend for a period the operation of a community correction order or any condition of the order. (2) If the Secretary suspends the operation of an order or a condition of an order under subsection (1), the period of the suspension does not count in calculating the period for which the order is to remain in force or a condition is to be complied with.
