162 Transitional provision—Sentencing (Community Correction Order) and Other Acts Amendment Act 2016 (1) The amendments made to this Act by Part 2 of the **Sentencing (Community Correction Order)** **and Other Acts Amendment Act 2016** (other than sections 3 and 4) apply to the sentencing of an offender on or after the commencement of that Part, irrespective of when the offence was committed or the finding of guilt was made. (2) The amendments made to this Act by sections 3 and 4 of the **Sentencing (Community Correction Order)** **and Other Acts Amendment Act 2016** apply only to offences alleged to have been committed after the commencement of those sections. (3) For the purposes of subsection (2), if an offence is alleged to have been committed between 2 dates, one before and one on or after the commencement of sections 3 and 4 of the **Sentencing (Community Correction Order)** **and Other Acts Amendment Act 2016**, it is alleged to have been committed before that commencement.
