### 42 Production of identity cards, and associated deceptions > > (1)  A responsible worker for an SSDS permit must immediately produce his or her identity card for inspection if required to do so by an authorised officer. > > > (2)  A person must not produce to an authorised officer a document that is, or purports to be, an identity card with the intention of falsely representing to the authorised officer that the person is the holder of the identity card. > > > (3)  A person must not, with intention to deceive, produce to an authorised officer an identity card that has been altered in a material respect or a document that resembles an identity card. > > > (4)  A responsible worker for an SSDS permit must not cause or allow his or her identity card to be used in a manner calculated to deceive an authorised officer. > > > (5)  A person who contravenes [subsection (1)](#GS42@Gs1@EN) , [(2)](#GS42@Gs2@EN) , [(3)](#GS42@Gs3@EN) or [(4)](#GS42@Gs4@EN) is guilty of an offence. > > > > Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
