#### 36 Simplified outline of this Part The Secretary may require a reporting entity for, or an operator of, a critical infrastructure asset to provide certain information or documents. The making of a record, or the use or disclosure, of protected information is authorised in particular circumstances but is otherwise an offence. The privilege against self‑incrimination does not apply in relation to a requirement to provide information or documents under this Part. > Note: Protected information is defined in section 5A.
