69 Penalty notices—the Act, s 45A

69 Penalty notices—the Act, s 45A

(1) For the Act, section 45A—

(a) each offence created by a provision specified in Schedule 3 is an offence for which a penalty notice may be issued, and

(b) the amount payable for the penalty notice is the amount specified opposite the provision.

(2) If the reference to a provision in Column 1 of Schedule 3 is qualified by words that restrict the provision’s operation to specified kinds of offences, an offence created by the provision is a prescribed offence only if the offence is of the specified kind or committed in the specified circumstances.
