12 Surrender of licence—the Act, s 31
A suspended or revoked licence must immediately be surrendered as follows—
(a) if a notice of suspension or revocation is sent to the person to whom the licence was granted—the person must, on receiving the notice, deliver the licence to a police officer or other approved person,
(b) if a notice specified in paragraph (a) is not sent to the person but the person is otherwise directed by a police officer or other approved person to hand over the licence—the person must hand over the licence in accordance with the direction.
