#### 17 Surrender of licence: section 31 17 Surrender of licence: section 31 > For the purposes of section 31 of the Act, a licence that is suspended or revoked must be immediately surrendered as follows— > > > (a) if a notice of suspension or revocation is sent to the person to whom the licence was granted—the person must, on receiving that notice, deliver the licence to a police officer or other approved person, > > > (b) if no such notice is sent to the person but the person is otherwise directed by a police officer or other approved person to hand over the licence—the person must hand over the licence in accordance with that direction.
