34 Place of business
[Section 34 Amended by No. 58 of 2005, s. 29, Applied:01 Jan 2006] [Section 34 Amended by No. 29 of 2022, s. 99, Applied:14 Dec 2022] The holder of an agent licence issued by the Director in accordance with section 10 who operates a commercial agency must not invite any person to do business, or demand directly or indirectly from a debtor any payment of the debt, at a place other than the place of business specified in the licence.
Penalty: In the case of –
(a) a body corporate, 500 penalty units; and
(b) a natural person, 200 penalty units.
