27ADefacing or altering licence, identity card or identifying number

### 27A Defacing or altering licence, identity card or identifying number > [*\[Section 27A Inserted by No. 58 of 2005, s. 25, Applied:01 Jan 2006\]*](/view/html/inforce/2006-01-01/act-2005-058#GS25@EN) The holder of a licence must not – > > > > (a) alter or deface the holder's licence, identity card or identifying number; or > > > > > (b) allow another person to alter or deface the holder's licence, identity card or identifying number; or > > > > > (c) wear or use the holder's licence, identity card or identifying number if he or she knows that it has been altered or defaced. > > Penalty:  In the case of – > > > > (a) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 500 penalty units; and > > > > > (b) a natural person, a fine not exceeding 100 penalty units.
