##### 3 Object (1) The object of this Act is to regulate the securities industry in the Australian Capital Territory and this Act has effect, and shall be construed accordingly. (2) The Companies and Securities (Interpretation and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1980 applies to this Act.
