128Shared liability

#### 128 Shared liability If: (a) an injury suffered by an employee arises out of, or in the course of, the employee’s employment with more than one employer; and (b) one of the employers has paid compensation to the employee in respect of the injury; the employer who paid the compensation may, by an action in a court of competent jurisdiction, recover from the other employer or employers an amount equal to the compensation paid multiplied by the proportion of the contribution to the injury made by the employment of the other employer or employers.
