#### 72 SES scores—definition (1) In this Act: > SES score, for a non‑government school, means: (a) an SES score determined for the school, as in effect on 31 December 2008, under section 8 of the former Act; or (b) a whole number determined by the Minister for the school under subsection (2) of this section, in accordance with guidelines approved by the Minister under subsection (3) of this section. (2) The Minister may determine an SES score for a non‑government school for the purposes of subsection (1), for the program year in which the determination is made. > Note: The Minister must give notice of the determination to the approved authority of the school (see section 82). (3) The Minister may, by legislative instrument, approve guidelines for the determination of SES scores.
