#### 58 Distance education funding—secondary distance education funding amounts Scope (1) This section applies in relation to a non‑government school for the purposes of the following provisions: (a) paragraph 41(2)(b) (current SES funding); (b) paragraph 44(2)(d) (maintained funding); (c) paragraph 50(2)(b) (guaranteed year 2008 funding); (d) paragraph 54(2)(d) (maximum SES funding). Funding amount (2) Work out the amount for the school’s secondary distance education students for the program year using the formula:  where: > assistance amount per student, for a program year, means the amount worked out using the formula: >  Rounding‑up to next highest dollar (3) If the assistance amount per student for a program year is an amount of dollars and cents, the amount is to be rounded to the next highest dollar.
