#### 12 Authorised financial assistance—funding agreements (1) The Minister must not authorise a payment to a State under this Act for a non‑government school, or another non‑government body, unless the relevant authority of the school or body has made an agreement (a funding agreement) with the Commonwealth that complies with Division 3 (Funding agreements). (2) A funding agreement may have been made before the commencement of this Act.
