2Definitions

#### 2 Definitions In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears: > airport shop goods has the same meaning as in the Customs Act 1901. > inwards duty free shop and relevant traveller have the same meanings as in section 96B of the Customs Act 1901. > Sales Tax Assessment Act means any Act, as in force for the time being, relating to the imposition, assessment and collection of a tax upon the sale value of goods. > the Customs Tariff means the Customs Tariff Act 1987 as amended by any Act, and as proposed to be amended by Customs Tariff Proposals introduced into the House of Representatives. > the Excise Tariff means the Excise Tariff 1921-1956 as amended by any Act, and as proposed to be amended by Excise Tariff Proposals introduced into the House of Representatives.
