34EComcare to establish operational standards for rehabilitation program providers

#### 34E Comcare to establish operational standards for rehabilitation program providers (1) Comcare must, by legislative instrument, determine operational standards to be complied with by all persons who are approved as rehabilitation program providers under subsection 34F(1). (2) Without limiting the generality of subsection (1), the standards must include: (a) standards relating to effectiveness, availability and cost that the person is required to meet and to maintain in the provision of rehabilitation services as an approved rehabilitation program provider; and (b) such other standards as Comcare considers appropriate concerning the operation of the person as an approved rehabilitation program provider. (4) Comcare may only vary standards with effect from a renewal date but must publish the standards as proposed to be so varied, at least 6 months before the renewal date when they take effect.
