50 Appointment of CEO
Appointment by Minister (1) The Minister must, by written instrument, appoint the CEO. Full‑time basis (2) The CEO holds office on a full‑time basis. Period of appointment (3) The CEO holds office for the period specified in his or her instrument of appointment. The period must not exceed 5 years.
Note: The CEO may be reappointed: see section 33AA of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.
