Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

These regulations replace the 2008 SACE Board rules, preserve existing senior‑secondary qualifications and recognitions, and set transitional arrangements so the Board can keep awarding the current qualification (s4, Sch 1). They also allow the Board to waive or reduce fees in appropriate cases (s5). The rules mainly affect senior students, schools and organisations that pay or administer SACE fees by preserving entitlement continuity and giving the Board administrative discretion over fee relief and recognition of achievements.
