#### 36 Notice to public authority not to light fires during a bush fire danger period—the Act, s 135 36 Notice to public authority not to light fires during a bush fire danger period—the Act, s 135 > > (1) A notification referred to in the Act, section 95(2)(a) must— > > > > > (a) be written, and > > > > > (b) contain or have attached to it a copy of the relevant determination, and > > > > > (c) be given at least 24 hours before the period specified in the notice begins. > > > (2) The notice must be given— > > > > > (a) by giving the notice to an officer or employee of the public authority whom the public authority has notified to the local authority as being authorised to receive the notice, or > > > > > (b) by sending a copy of the notice to the head office of the public authority by post, email, facsimile transmission or document exchange facility.
