96 Appropriate authorities not determining authorities
> > (1) An appropriate authority is not, for the purposes of granting a fire permit, a determining authority within the meaning of Part 5 of the [Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1979-203). In addition, an appropriate authority is not a determining authority within the meaning of that Act merely because the authority can authorise another person to grant a permit.
