8 Function of the Council
The function of the Council is to give the Minister such advice and information as the Minister requests about the following matters: (a) rural adjustment generally; (b) regional issues, and in particular matters relating to agreements with States under section 20E; (c) matters relating to declarations of exceptional circumstances; (d) training issues, and in particular the Farm Business Improvement Program; (e) any other matter that the Minister requests advice or information about.
