94 Roads authority may carry out drainage work across land adjoining public road etc
> > (1) A roads authority may, for the purpose of draining or protecting a public road, carry out drainage work in or on any land in the vicinity of the road.
>
> > (2) The powers conferred by this section may not be exercised in or on land on which rail infrastructure facilities owned by Rail Corporation New South Wales, Sydney Metro, Transport for NSW, Sydney Trains, NSW Trains, Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation or Rail Infrastructure Corporation are situated.

> > (2A) In this section, rail infrastructure facilities has the same meaning as it has in the [Transport Administration Act 1988](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1988-109).
>
> > (3) The roads authority must pay compensation to the owner of the land for any loss or damage arising from the exercise of any power under this section.
