#### 168 Notification of use of force or urgent entry 168 Notification of use of force or urgent entry > > (1) An authorised officer— > > > > > (a) who uses force for the purpose of gaining entry to the land, or > > > > > (b) who enters land in an emergency without giving written notice to the owner or occupier, > > > > must promptly advise the roads authority of that fact. > > > (2) The roads authority must give notice of the entry to such persons or authorities as appear to the roads authority to be appropriate in the circumstances.
