55 Assignment of rights (1) A prescribed right may only be assigned if the road transport authority approves the assignment of the right to the proposed assignee. (2) If the owner of a prescribed right applies to the road transport authority to approve a proposed assignment of the right to someone, the road transport authority must, by written notice to the owner, approve the assignment of the right to the proposed assignee.
