83 Meaning of pre-approval for standard or wheelchair taxi licence pre-approval, for a standard taxi licence or a wheelchair-accessible taxi licence, means a pre-approval issued under section 86 (Pre-approval—decision on application). Note A pre-approval for a taxi licence gives the pre-approval holder— (a) a position on the taxi licence waiting list (see s 84); and (b) the opportunity to apply for the taxi licence (see s 92A).
