78 ITSO approval—decision on application for renewal
application for renewal of an ITSO approval under section 77.
(2) The authority may renew the approval only if satisfied that the
approval-holder continues to—
(a) satisfy any ITSO eligibility criteria; and
(b) comply with the service standards for independent taxi services.
(3) The road transport authority may refuse to renew the approval if—
(a) the authority believes on reasonable grounds that the
approval-holder has contravened a condition of the approval; or
(b) any accreditation under the Act held by the approval-holder is
suspended under chapter 8 (Disciplinary action).
(4) If the authority decides to renew the approval, the authority may
impose or amend a condition on the approval.
