303 Standards about security cameras in demand responsive
security cameras in DRS vehicles.
(2) A standard may make provision in relation to security cameras in
DRS vehicles, including, for example—
(a) when security cameras may be installed; and
(b) the kinds of security cameras that may be installed; and
(c) the position of security cameras; and
(d) the operation of security cameras; and
(e) requirements about notices to be included in a vehicle that has a
security camera installed.
Note The Privacy Act 1988 (Cwlth) imposes obligations on some private sector
organisations in relation to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of
personal information collected about an individual.
(3) An approval under subsection (1) is a disallowable instrument.
(4) A standard may apply, adopt or incorporate (with or without change)
an instrument as in force from time to time.
