29 Display of notice on bus about maximum number of
(1) The accredited operator of a single-decker bus used to operate a bus
service must display in a conspicuous position at the rear of the bus a
statement, in legible text at least 25mm high, of the maximum number
of seated, and the maximum number of standing, passengers the bus
is permitted to carry.
(2) The accredited operator of a double-decker bus used to operate a bus
service must display in a conspicuous position at the rear of the bus a
statement, in legible text at least 25mm high, of—
(a) the maximum number of seated passengers the bus is permitted
to carry on each deck of the bus; and
(b) the maximum number of standing passengers the bus is
permitted to carry on the lower deck of the bus.
