242 Surrender of authorisation
(1) A DRS authorisation-holder may apply to the road transport authority
to surrender the authorisation.
(2) The application may be made personally by the authorisation-holder
or by an agent who produces written evidence of his or her
appointment as agent.
(a) return the authorisation to the road transport authority; or
(b) if the authorisation has been lost, stolen or destroyed—give the
authority a statement verifying that the authorisation has been
lost, stolen or destroyed.
(4) If the person complies with this section, the road transport authority
suspend or cancel the authorisation.
