64 Use of vehicles as hire cars (1) A person must not use a vehicle as a hire car (other than a restricted hire car) unless the vehicle is licensed under the regulations as a hire car. (2) A person must not use a vehicle as a restricted hire car unless the vehicle is licensed under the regulations as a restricted hire car. (3) This section does not apply to a person in relation to the hiring of a vehicle used by the person if— (a) the vehicle is licensed as a hire car under the law of another jurisdiction; and ACT. (4) This section also does not apply to a person who is using a substitute vehicle as a licensed hire car in accordance with the regulations.
