42 Use of vehicles as taxis (1) A person must not use a vehicle as a taxi (other than a restricted taxi) unless the vehicle is licensed under the regulations as a taxi. (2) A person must not use a vehicle as a restricted taxi unless the vehicle is licensed under the regulations as a restricted taxi. (3) This section does not apply to a person in relation to the hiring of a vehicle used by the person if— (a) the vehicle is licensed as a taxi under the law of another jurisdiction; and Licensing of taxi vehicles Part 4 Taxi licences Division 4.2 ACT. (4) This section also does not apply to a person who is using a substitute vehicle as a licensed taxi in accordance with the regulations.
