22 Operators of regular route services to hold service contracts (1) A person must not operate, in or partly in the ACT, a regular route service unless the person holds a service contract for the service. (2) However, if a regular route service is discontinued because of a variation or termination of a service contract, the road transport authority may make arrangements with an appropriately accredited person to operate a temporary regular route service to replace the discontinued service even though the person does not hold a service contract for the replacement service. (3) This section does not apply to the operation of a regular route service by the Territory.
