18Entitlement to operate regular route services

18 Entitlement to operate regular route services (1) A person is entitled to operate a regular route service, in or partly in the ACT, if— (a) the person is accredited under the regulations to operate regular route services; and (b) the person holds a service contract for the service. (2) However, the Territory is entitled to operate a regular route service whether or not the Territory— (a) is accredited under the regulations to operate regular route services; or (b) holds a service contract for the service. (3) If the Territory operates a regular route service, part 2 (Bus services) applies in relation to the Territory’s operation of the service as if— (a) the Territory were accredited to operate the service; and (c) all necessary changes, and any changes prescribed by regulation, Entitlement to operate certain bus services Division 2.4
